Inscribed in every drop of the flagship Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape rouge is the story of the domaine`s terroir. the Mediterranean climate, the rugged, galet-strewn terrain and the elevation of the Crau plateau, where Vieux Télégraphe`s old-vine fruit gains its concentration, complexity and mineral freshness. "One of the most age-worthy cuvees in the appellation, Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe’s 2005 Châteauneuf-du-Pape was gorgeous on this occasion, showing classic iodine, seaweed and peppery herbs intermixed with layers of sweet currant, plum and blackberry fruits."
