Gigondas Tradition Moulin de la Gardette 2021 is crafted from a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, sourced from meticulously tended organic vineyards, some of which are situated at elevated altitudes near the village. The Gigondas region`s rich and diverse soil composition, comprising clay, limestone and sandy elements, contributes to the wine`s depth. Wholebunch fermentation takes place, followed by maturation in older foudres, fostering a complex profile. This vintage exhibits notes of red fruit, herbal undertones and subtle spices, alongside a structured mouthfeel and notable tannins. Moulin de la Gardette has been producing wines since the 1950s, emphasising environmental stewardship and traditional methods.
