This 40-year-old Bas-Armagnac from the Darroze `Les Grands Assemblages` range is a real treat for fans of the French brandy. The nose is dominated by aromas of oak, but also hints of grape skins, dried berries, marmalade, cherries, gooseberries, leather and toffee. The palate is silky, with a mix of spice, oak and fruit.
