El Pisón Artadi 2006 originates from a single vineyard in the Rioja Alavesa region, known for its exceptional terroir. This Tempranillo is derived from vines planted in 1945, benefiting from rich clay and limestone soils. Aged for 16-18 months in new French oak, it exhibits a complex bouquet of dark fruits, leather and subtle spice. The palate is structured, showing significant tannins alongside a notable minerality. Artadi, founded in 1985, focuses on minimal intervention and expresses the unique characteristics of its plots. This vintage may evolve over the next two decades.
