Roda I Bodegas Roda 2020 is a flagship Rioja Reserva produced from a selection of the estate`s finest old-vine parcels, dominated by Tempranillo with a small addition of Graciano. This vintage emphasises black fruit character, offering a dense profile of plums, blackberries and chocolate, accented by a subtle balsamic lift. Winemaking involves fermentation in large French oak vats followed by 16 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a wine of significant volume and expertly polished tannins. Unlike the Roda bottling, which focuses on red fruit, Roda I is defined by its brooding depth and structural intensity. It is a sophisticated and modern expression of Rioja, balancing its rich concentration with a persistent and refreshing mineral finish.
