Knappogue Castle is an independent Irish whiskey brand with no distillery of its own, historically sourcing casks from producers including Cooley and, for older vintages, Bushmills-era stock. This Ex Libris "Summer Wind" bottling was distilled in 1994 and matured for 27 years in a single bourbon cask before release as part of a limited, literature-themed series. Expect the fruity, honeyed, gently spiced character typical of well-aged Irish single malt from bourbon wood, with a smooth, approachable finish. A collectible choice for Irish whiskey enthusiasts seeking something genuinely rare.
