Crafted from whisky spanning the years 1987 to 1997, The Macallan Oscuro was originally a Travel Retail exclusive, sourced solely from oak casks seasoned with Oloroso sherry. A significant majority of these casks are first fill, imparting the whisky with a deep colour and intense flavour profile, giving rise to the aptly named ‘Oscuro’.
