From the excellent 1998 vintage, this is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Another stunning release from Ornellaia with Cabernet Sauvignon performing particularly well. Saturated black fruits, graphite and smoke glide across the palate into a long, dark finish.
