San Roman 2021 is a robust red wine crafted from Tinto de Toro (Tempranillo) grapes in the Toro region of Spain. Bodegas y Vinedos Maurodos was established by Mariano Garcia Fernandez, a former winemaker at Vega Sicilia, in the late 1990`s, they are known for utilisesing old bush vines cultivated in sandy clay soils. This wine undergoes 24 months of maturation in a blend of new French (70%) and American (30%) oak. The result is a wine with a complex profile featuring black fruit notes and a structured mouthfeel, showcasing the terroir of Toro.
