Vega Sicilia is a legend among Spanish wine producers, established in 1864 at the western end of what is now the Ribera del Duero DO. The flagship wine, Unico, is Spain’s undisputed equivalent of a first growth. Boasting a powerful 14.5% abv, the 2012 release is composed of 95% Tinto Fino and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and is a concentrated, juicy vintage.
