Domaine Morey-Coffinet Bâtard-Montrachet 2023 is a Grand Cru Chardonnay from the Côte de Beaune. This is a massive, multidimensional wine that reflects the deep, clay-rich soils of the Bâtard site, where the fruit reached a high level of concentration in 2023. The vintage is broad and powerful, offering layers of yellow citrus, toasted almond and crushed stones supported by a taut, tensile mid-palate. It is a powerhouse Chardonnay that manages to stay upright and focused through its intense, saline-driven finish, representing the absolute pinnacle of the estate`s white wine production.
