Le Clos du Caillou Châteauneuf-du-Pape Reserve 2012 is a full-bodied red wine produced from organically farmed grapes in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. A blend of old-vine Grenache and Mourvedre, the 2012 Reserve was aged for 18 months in 600l demi-muids. The wine offers lush, sultry fruit notes of stewed strawberry, blackberry and blackcurrant liqueur, overlaid with accents of crystallised figs, sous bois, liquorice, clove and violets.
