Corton-Charlemagne Alex Moreau 2022 is a Grand Cru Chardonnay sourced from parcels on the famed hill of Corton. The vineyards encompass the prestigious En Charlemagne and Le Charlemagne, situated at over 800 feet in altitude. The soils are comprised of clay-limestone, ideally suited for producing concentrated wines. Hand-harvested grapes undergo fermentation in select French oak barrels, primarily from François Frères, with a small portion in tank. The wine is aged on its lees for an extended period.
