Juyondai Tokuto Special Grade Omachi is a premium Junmai Daiginjo sake from the Takagi Shuzo brewery, produced using the rare and difficult-to-grow Omachi rice. This `Tokuto` or special grade designation indicates the highest quality of rice selection and brewing. Omachi rice traditionally imparts a deeper, more earthy and herbal character to sake compared with other varieties. The nose offers notes of wild herbs, steamed rice and a hint of tropical fruit. On the palate, the sake is rich and multi-layered, displaying a robust structure and a complex savoury depth. It remains incredibly smooth and elegant, finishing with a persistent, spicy complexity.
