Laphroaig`s Archive Collection unveils its inaugural release, presenting a rare glimpse into the elusive fruity dimension of this heavily-peated single malt. After maturing in first-fill bourbon casks and undergoing a finishing touch in a refill oloroso sherry hogshead, it reveals tropical notes of mango and citrus on the nose. The palate unfolds with a mellow medicinal smoke, softened by age, accompanied by nuances of liquorice, cedar, toffee, and honeycomb.
