Here is the 2000 vintage of Pauillac Fifth Growth, Château Pontet-Canet. 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, good balance between blackberry, strawberry fruit and liquorice notes. Rich but very soft on the palate and an impressive structure composed of soft tannins. Concluding on a beautifully long finish.
