Arômes de Pavie is the second wine of Château Pavie, made in the same rich, opulent St-Émilion style from 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, but designed to drink sooner. The 2009 vintage was one of Bordeaux`s most celebrated in recent decades. warm, ripe and generous. Expect a deep, dense colour, with black plum, cassis and mocha on the nose, and a full, velvety palate with soft, well-integrated tannins. Ready to drink now, though it will hold comfortably for several more years. Good with roast lamb or hard cheese.
