Château Batailley is a 5ème Cru Classé estate with a long history and solid reputation for exceptionally consistent, good value Pauillac. The 2010 vintage was generally considered as remarkably high quality and this wine has continued to impress as it has aged. Full-bodied and with plenty of youthful firmness, it offers up deeply concentrated notes of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, tobacco and stoney minerality. This is a benchmark release for Batailley and should continue to offer considerable drinking pleasure for the next few decades.
