Château Cheval Blanc 2021 is a full-bodied, blended red wine from the St-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux. One of the most celebrated châteaux in Saint-Émilion, Cheval Blanc covers 39 hectares of vineyards bordering Pomerol. The estate benefits from the expertise of a talented winemaking team led by Pierre-Olivier Clouet, overseen by the esteemed Pierre Lurton. Here presented in magnum format, the 2021 vintage is a blend composed of 52% Cabernet Franc, 43% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine impresses with its exquisite texture, precise and tightly knit tannins. Medium to full-bodied, it reveals multiple layers of flavours, including black and blue fruit, mineral notes, hints of tar, dark cocoa, and a touch of spice. Subtle undertones of dried herbs add complexity. It boasts a long and persistent finish, maintaining its focused character throughout the palate.
