Clos du Marquis 2006 is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based red from the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux. The 2006 vintage produced wines with a firm, traditional structure and a savoury profile, featuring notes of black cherry, cedar and liquorice. This release displays a deep garnet colour and a medium to full-bodied, velvety texture. While it shares the racy character of its sister estate, Léoville Las Cases, it offers a more fruit-forward personality with sweet, integrated tannins. The palate is polished and intense, with a long finish that reveals hints of lead pencil and forest floor.
