Frontonio La Cerqueta Garnacha 2022 showcases a singular expression of old-vine Garnacha from the historic La Cerqueta vineyard in Aragón, established in the 1940s. Located at 630 metres, the vineyard`s gray and blue slate soils contribute to the wine`s character. This vintage underwent spontaneous fermentation using whole clusters in cement, followed by an eight-week maceration. Subsequently, it was aged for 12 months in a single neutral foudre. Bodegas Frontonio, founded by Fernando Mora MW, Mario López and Francisco Latasa, aims to revive the rich viticultural heritage of Aragón. Only 2,300 bottles were produced.
