Petalos Descendientes de J Palacios 2023 is a Mencía from the Bierzo region of Spain. This project, led by Álvaro Palacios, is responsible for putting the region on the global map by focusing on old, hillside vines and steep slopes. The wine is fermented using whole clusters to add an aromatic layer of spice and floral lift to the dark, mineral-heavy fruit profile.
