Just entering its drinking window, expect a deep, concentrated wine with aromas of blackberry, tobacco, cigar ash and violets, leading to a dense, powerfully tannic palate balanced by good freshness. It is built for long-term cellaring, needing a decade or more to soften and show its best. A serious, structured claret for patient collectors, ideal alongside roast lamb or mature cheese.
