Château Pibran 2005 is a full-bodied, Cru Bourgeois red wine from the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Rich and mouth-coating with velvety tannins and a sustained finish, this 2005 is considered by most critics to the best Pibran in recent years. The wine is vinified in the cellar of Château Pichon-Baron. "A sleeper of the vintage in many a year, the 2005 Pibran is once again a very successful wine. Dense opaque purple, with loads of crème de cassis fruit, liquorice and incense, the wine is medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure, and should hit full maturity in about 3-4 years and last at least 15-20."
