The 2010 Château Pichon Baron is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot, matured in 80% new oak for 18 months. On the nose, expect beautiful balsamic notes, followed by eucalyptus, mint, liquorice, and mature dark berries. On the palate, the roundness of the wine is evident, complemented by tannins that are very much present but well integrated.
