The 2001 vintage of Pauillac Fifth Growth, Château Pontet-Canet is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 5.5% Cabernet Franc and 0.5% Petit Verdot. Boasting a complex nose of red and dark berries well balanced with notes of vanilla and liquorice. On the palate this wine is characterised by a vibrant structure, fine tannins and full, long finish.
